DAVIS CUP PROGRAM SAMPLE WEEK
TUESDAYS & THURSDAYS
9:30am – Drop off at EHIT (pick up available for extra fee)
9:40am – 10:50am Beach Workouts
This summer, Davis Cup will be offering our young athletes activities that are complimentary to tennis. Surfing lessons, yoga, beach tennis, agility training, cardio and strength exercises will all be offered during the Beach Workouts (some activities may be optional with an additional fee). These activities will enhance balance, flexibility and fitness while giving players a break from the tennis court.
10:50am – 11:00am Snack Break
11:00am – 1:00pm Fun tennis drills to warm up and practice strokes
12:00pm – 12:30pm Lunch Break
1:30pm – 2:15pm Stroke of the day
The focus will be on a specific stroke followed by games that include match situations and strategy instruction. On Wednesday we will have video stroke analysis.
2:15pm – 3:30pm Match play and cool down
MONDAYS & FRIDAYS
9:30am – 10:50am Tennis Ethics
This portion of the day will teach our young athletes the proper way to warm up before a tournament and how to cool down properly. An appropriate warm up & cool down are essential for injury prevention. Also, we will go over USTA, ITF, High School and College rules to prepare our players to be more aware of rules and regulations when they are competing.

1:30pm – 2:15pm Stroke of the day
2:15pm – 3:30pm Match play and cool down
